Open Call for Chilean Civil Society Organizations
Digital Capacity Building Grants – Strengthening Civil Society in Chile Through Digital Innovation

Chile stands at a pivotal moment in its democratic journey. In the wake of political unrest, constitutional debates, and growing social demands, the role of civil society in sustaining democratic principles and promoting civic engagement has become increasingly vital. As the country navigates complex transitions and prepares for upcoming electoral processes, digital innovation offers new pathways for civil society to empower communities and foster inclusive democratic participation.
To support this work, Action for Democracy is pleased to launch a dedicated call for applications from non-partisan Chilean civil society organizations committed to advancing democracy through digital capacity building.

About the Digital Capacity Building Grants
Action for Democracy’s Digital Capacity Building Grants are designed to equip civil society organizations (CSOs) in Chile with digital tools, strategic resources, and collaborative opportunities to meet current democratic challenges. These grants aim to support CSOs focused on civic mobilization, combating disinformation, enhancing transparency, and expanding access to civic education and engagement through digital means.
This initiative forms part of a broader global effort to invest in civil society in regions experiencing democratic uncertainty, including Latin America. In Chile, the program recognizes the urgency and opportunity to support organizations working to shape a resilient democratic future.
